Fireside Socks

I did this sock for a competition.. I made a 45m long warp and used 90m for each sock. I knitted it is a 4mm needle and the warp was dip-dyed in cochineal premordanted in Alum and parts were dipped into a post mordant of copper sulphate.

mmm Now just to knit the other one.. :o)

Oh, Carle! The cochineal is gorgeous. You've done such a beautiful job and I'm sure that the second sock will be lovely, too!

GORGEOUS!!!!

So well done. You are going to have to do a demo on knitting in the round. I struggle so with that. Is there an easy way???

Love the colour at the big toe...Royal king colour..
