Lyra Pencil bag
I have been meaning to post this for a while, but seem to keep forgetting. :o)
I really loved the lilac bell gnome that Suez knitted and it inspired me.. Thanks Suez! And I can't wait till she joins in with the fun at our home.
Carle, I love this! I've been wanting to make something like this for our block crayons. You've inspired us to make one with felt and embroidery. Lovely!
That pencil holder is beautiful! I keep thinking about making one of those, especially since the metal box that our pencils came in is all bent up now, but I keep putting it off to do other things. Maybe if I go back and look at how pretty yours is again, I'll feel more motivated.
What a nice pencil case. I love the embroidery. I am lucky to have a mom who has made one for my kids, too! Your blog is wonderful! It is so nice to transport across the planet to where you are!
blogger swallowed my last comment I love the embroidery and felt, Ive only seen pencil rolls done in cotton fabrics, and the ties are great, ours keeps untucking because it is just a flap... so much inspiration, thankyou!
