Just before every one arrived we got dressed and Thomas ran out onto the straw bale ship that we had built. This was the starting point for the treasure hunt. He was very excited as he got to wear a button shirt for the first time and was convinced it was because he had turned 6. Sweet assumptions...
Thomi and Olli wasted no time and tucked into their 'treasure' Olli looks like an angel dressed as a pirate, sigh... How does he always look so angelic?

We had a wonderful day and I loved connecting with my friends, while our children demolished the pirate ship and created houses.
