Thomas' Doll needs a Name!

Thomas really wants a girl doll, I have now made peace with this, At least she won't be wearing a biggie best print.

So here she is, she is almost complete, she still needs her shirt and her baby board with doll.

So now we need to give her a name ...mmmm... I like Laughing Dove, do you have a red Indian name to suggest? I would love to hear it.Her skirt is made from thin wool felt from Australia, and beads.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for your suggestions,
Thomas really wants the dancing referance, and loves birds, so I think he will like sky dancer. [thanks Nicole]
I will post the final pics soon and let you know the red indians name.

My son has about 6 cherished "stuffies" (he gets upset if I call them 'dolls' though I'm not sure where he picked up that gender bias). Two of them are girls. Little boys need female friends too!
Your work is beautiful-- I have been wanting to try my hand at making a doll. I think I'll make a real small simple one first to practice the head techniques, and if it works well I'm going to make my son a bigger stuffie friend for christmas (all the ones he has are 8 inches or smaller).
